Patey1Patrick Ey

Pat is new to the club having finished school in 2009. He rowed at Pembroke in the 1st VIII and recently rowed in the Trans Tasman Test Series against NZ in the Lightweight IV. Pat is very patient and enthusiatic and under the guidance of Matt is proving to be a great coach.

charlie1Charlie Bruce

You will hear him before you see him, this larger than life character is only new to the club in 2011 but already has made his mark. A former cox of the St Peter's College 1st VIII charlie outgrew his role (literally) and has turned himself into a very competent lightweight rower recently rowing in the Trans Tasman Test Series.  Charlie brings experience from both his coxing and rowing to teach the new recruits.

Men's Coaches

MikeMike Jeffries

Mike rowed in numerous South Australian King's Cup crews, in the large stroking those crews. Although never actually securing a win he was pivotal to an era of considerable success for the State, with many agonisingly close seconds. At University he rowed and stroked the men's VIII with distinction. Mike has coached the Pembroke School 1st VIII and also the St Peter's College 10A Quad Sculls. Recently Mike has overseen a resurgence in the Men's squad and been pivotal to back to back Inter Varsity Victories and Trans Tasman Test Series. His engineering background leaves him with a keen eye for detail and precision.
